Writing, Recording, Performing!

Last night I was able to get a decent scratch track for my new song "Safe Harbour".  I am hoping to have a performance-ready backing track for my niece's wedding on 14 November!

I think the song is going well.  I have some words I need to tweak in the bridge, but I am happy with the chords, with the builds, and with the key change.  I am hoping it will be a blessing to Chynna and Bryan on their special day.

I needed to make significant progress because I am off on a road trip tomorrow!  I will be performing with the Covenant Players Donau Unit in southern Germany -- two school performances and three church performances.

My husband Larry and I just performed for a school east of Paris a week ago.  The kids were really great, and helpful to the fact that we could not speak any French at all.  For those that know Covenant Players, we have a special program that encourages English students to speak.  It is a program called the English Language Communication Program, and there is a promotional video that talks about how it works.

More details about my performing calendar are available here --
Penni Jo Events.  If you are anywhere nearby and want to meet up, let me know!

So, busy packing, and tightening up all my lines!  Looking forward to a fantastic time of ministry in the churches and encouragement in the schools.  Here we go!
